Went for carry out and they were EXTREMELY busy. Excellent service and delicious food. Complimentary water while we were waiting. The front counter staff were rock stars juggling orders, tables, phone calls, and customer service. We'll be back!

I actually ended up not eating here because I was pulled in by their 'Tuesday buy one get one' that shows on Yelp, but upon getting there was told it is only for their $20 large specialty pizzas. There was only two of us. We didn't need two giant pizzas. I didn't need a full weeks worth of leftover pizza when I didn't even know if it would be edible. False advertising. And it looked like an ugly fast food restaurant inside with uncomfortable seating.

Went there late one night and the guys working were really awesome. My friend talked trash about the place and the workers, the way the pizza tasted and everything. I on the other hand thought the workers were very friendly and the pizza tasted fine. A construction worker came in just when they were closing and wanted to order 20 or so pizzas for his crew and the two boys thought it over and decided to go ahead and whip them up since the guys would be working hard all night. I give them props for that! The only thing I hate is the price. I paid $20 for a large pizza. I haven't gone back since.

1 star for good service. However, crust was soggy in the middle, and the pizza had no distinctive flavor at all -- blahhhh. Ordered an onion, green pepper, shrooms, sausage. Couldn't taste any any underlying flavor in the sauce whatsoever. Had to load it with crushed reds, oregano, just to get some zip. Sorry....mediocre at best. Back to Arte Pizza downtown for us.

The pizza was delicious according to my family. They had the "Furey" (Ranch, chicken tenders tossed in buffalo sauce, bleu cheese, celery, white cheddar) and a "Mrs. Z's" (Pepperoni, sausage, beef, mushroom, green peppers, onions, black olives, extra cheese) which they loved. The garlic knots were not my favorite, but not bad. We ate inside at one of the two tables and the service was good. Loved that we were able to play checkers and connect 4 while we waited!

First timer. My wife got the chicken florentine calzone. That picky eater loved it. I got the deluxe calzone and it was excellent. The garlic knots are the best I've ever had. Moving to Yulee soon and that will be a regular stop for us!

We didn't expect more than just average pizza. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! The buffalo chicken pizza was perfection with just the right combo of cheese, sauce and chicken. The chicken was sliced nice and thin so it was deliciously crispy. Also, it had just a touch of heat, not so spicy that it was overpowered. We also tried just a plain pepperoni pizza which was, as my pizza-snob teen effused, the best ever. The crust was so good that I actually ate it, and I never eat all the crust. Ever.

We were a tad bit skeptical about this place but it blew us away! Great calzones, pizza rolls, and white pizza! We will probably eat there another time this week!

They have some pretty decent pie. We ordered the Italian. I think they should get a different sausage topping, but overall good fresh ingredients. I ate there a year ago and it was solid, this time was no different. They are open late, which is a plus. I will order next time I'm in town.

They have a gluten free crust option! Fun family atmosphere. Connect four was on our table.

This was hands down the best veggie pizza I've ever had. Kudos! I shall return.

Let's start with they have moved to a bigger location. It's not far from the old location. We found them after having to call them. I will change the address as soon as a yelp adim ok's it. Well the place in nicer and has a bunch of tables with a few booths. Not the 2 picnic tables of old. The pizzas and in our case calzones are just as good as they were. We ordered the Chiz (meat lovers) and a chicken fricassee calzones. They were both packed full of stuff. Meat cheese and pure yumminess. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

We enjoyed our dinner at townies...Good food , great beer selection. Very upbeat energetic atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful but overtaxed. The phone rang non stop. You place your order at the counter and they bring it out to the table. I was interrupted three times by the ringing phone while trying to place our order. The nfl playoffs were on and we asked the staff four times to switch the channel to the game. They promised to get to it but never did. The pizza was awesome the garlic knots were ok. Overall A fun experience but be prepared to roll with the punches!

So glad we found this pizza place last night after another local place would not answer their phone. Our pizza was coming out of the oven as soon as we walked in and the entire staff was extremely friendly. Everyone enjoyed the pizza once we got it back to the house, there was hardly anything left. Wish these guys the best and hope they have a super busy summer.

This was a great place for pizza, went on easter sunday and it was pretty empty. Good wings, good pizza. Great leftovers.

The pizza was edible. It wasn't bad actually, it just wasn't as good as Dominos or Pizza Hut. That is the type of pizza they create; cheap and greasy. I'm not a "fast food pizza" type. I prefer brick oven and artisan shops. I have no clue as to why they charge so much for nothing special greasy pizza. My fiancé had approximately 2 pepperonis per slice of pizza, and the slices are very large. He did get an unexpected hair on it as well. Skip this place unless you have a fantastic coupon. It's so expensive for what you get.

Love the pizza here! yum! And you can't beat that walk in special price for a pizza! We only go to Townies now for pizza. My husband loved the pepperoni rolls, and i loooveed the monkey bread here too. Yum!! The inside is cute as well, and the staff is very nice.

Since transplanting from "the pizza belt of America" , this has become my Favorite pizza place. Plenty of seating inside and a great pizza at good price. Thank you for making pizza as well as we do back home!

Pretty good pizza you could actually taste the individual ingredients! Menu indicates beer and wine but no wine was available. Service was good and they doing a land office takeout business.

How is this place only getting 2 1/2 stars? If you want cheap nasty pizza, call one of the numerous chains on the island. You pay for quality- of pizza and ingredients. These guys are great, and the pizza has never disappointed. I like a pizza where each ingredient can be tasted, and one that is not overpowered by sauce, and these guys do not disappoint. When deciding on where to grab a pizza while in town, I will always choose Townies or Arte's.

Great pizza and healthy sized servings. The blue cheese chips are random but definitely gotta try at least once. Garlic knots are good. Great atmosphere and chill staff. Definitely a go to for a lazy night or a pizza craving
